We are a small farm
Located in Port Lavaca, Texas. We
are proud to be the home of "Little
Kings Starbuck",
"Lucky Four Skippa
Jack Frost","MT
Vernon E JS Rowdy" ,"Mission Creek
Dr Macs Supreme Dream" and "Far Vista Farms
Little Buckeroo" . We began
raising minis in 1995. We visited
Mission Creek Miniatures and saw the
most beautiful buckskin colts and
were introduced to their sire
"Little Kings Starbuck". He
simply just took our breath away.
Through the years the McGinty's have
been excellent mentors and
true friends and we can not say
THANK YOU enough! Recently we
were blessed with the opportunity to
own "Starbuck" Our goal is to take our
champion sired stallions and
combined them with our beautiful
mares to produce the champions of
tomorrow. Our babies are imprinted
from birth and handled daily. In
2006 we purchased our dream home and
now we live on a beautiful 52 acre
farm that runs along a small creek
and has a large stocked pond and
lush beautiful pastures for our
babies.
One of the reasons we
decided to purchase a miniature
horse was because of my oldest
daughter. She loved horses and
we were looking for something she
could be very hands on with since it
has been a dream of hers to become a
Veterinarian . She has been
very involved in every aspect of
raising minis and started delivering
foals when she was 13 years old.
Recently a very wonderful part of
her dream took place and I am please
to announce that she is now working
on her Bio-Chemistry degree and
working as an assistant for our vet
Dr Kenneth Motl DVM. A special
thank you goes to Dr. Clinton
D. Barrett DVM. and Dr. Cindy Garrett
DVM. for
helping to inspire Ashley's dream
and love for animals.
